Mood Board for Movie Opener

 Good Afternoon everybody!

Since we wrapped up our idea for the final movie opener we were instructed to create a mood board to guide us and the vibe of the film.

Below you'll see my mood board which is an interpretation of our movie!





My mood board represents a mystery-thriller film that follows the morning routine of the main character. The top half of my mood board shows the main character in their regular outfit inside their house. The setting and natural sunlight are used to show that it is daytime and that everything feels normal and calm. This helps the audience feel comfortable at the start of the movie opener. The middle section of the mood board shows the stalker’s outfit, which is darker and more hidden to create contrast between the two characters. The teddy bear is an important prop because it secretly has a camera in its eye. It looks innocent and harmless, but it is actually how the stalker watches the main character from different angles that will serve as a close up. The final image shows a mysterious figure in dark lighting sitting at their computer, watching the footage. This reveals that the character has been monitored the entire time and introduces the mystery and thriller tone of the film.

This picture sets the scene of where the person is located and where the other photos would be taken. Its primary purpose is to set the scene by showing where the person is located and providing context for the overall setting. This shot helps the viewers understand the location and mood, which is the library.  This is a two-person shot. It seems like the two students are having a good time and conversation while laughing. You can tell this by the body language. One student looks shocked while the other student is talking. Hello everyone! My name is Noam Zeitoun, and I am currently taking AICE Media Studies 2025-2026.  I chose this class to earn my AICE diploma and I do content creation revolving around books so I would love to know how to improve my skills. I enjoy all forms of media, including social media, movies, and shows, which are my go-to. I’m also a science enthusiast, particularly in biology.
